I have had a love for reading, writing, and mathematics at a very young age growing up in the Mississippi Delta (Itta Bena). These loves were cultivated during my studies at Jackson State University where I earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Education with concentrations in English and math. I began my education career as a Creative
I have had a love for reading, writing, and mathematics at a very young age growing up in the Mississippi Delta (Itta Bena). These loves were cultivated during my studies at Jackson State University where I earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Education with concentrations in English and math. I began my education career as a Creative Writing teacher before moving into mathematics. Throughout my career, I aimed to inspire a love of mathematics in my students. I began writing children's books to spark this love through literature.
